The system on the trans could either be dry or too much oil in splitter valve causing sluggish movement of the shuttle valve in the splitter
valve itself. This easy to do, drain air tanks and remove the air line from regulator on the back to slave valve on the side of trans. Squirt
about a tee spoon of air tool oil down that line and reconnect air line.
Next remove and disassemble the splitter valve that's located on back of trans. Careful not to disturb the shift fork housing that's
sandwiched between splitter valve and trans case, or you will take an oil bath. use another bolt to hold the fork housing in place while
cleaning the splitter valve. disassemble the splitter valve and clean all parts an lube with Bendix air valve grease. Reassemble in reverse
order. Start engine build air and operate the air shift selectors. It should speed right up when selecting ranges.
