Haven't had much time to add anything on here lately. Since I got back from that trip to Colorado I have been been overloaded with work.
On top of the normal truck and trailer maintenance I had two 13spd's to rebuild finished the last one today. Plus lining up a 2000 Pete 379
to make a tow truck out of. Leaning towards a Z353 permanent mount Zacklift with stiff legs and a 30,000 pound drag winch if I can't find
a 750 on the ground for a reasonable price. Long week and still have the weekend ahead. I will post a pic of some new trucks we just bought.

Swamped here too. 'Tis the season for tilling, planting, irrigation, and dirt moving. The farmers are keeping me hopping.
I did sneak off for a three day rifle completion last weekend though. Fifth place... Rats. :bangh

A bad day at the range beats a good day at work.
On that note, wanna come spread some crushed concrete? I'll have some 18s lined up for ya.

18's?.... S-18's with the 6-110? TS-18's? or just an 18 pak?:D In spite of being a semi famous Wabco guy, I really like old green things too.

Gotta love it... This morning my phone went off at 5:30, Normally I don't do road service on trucks but this guy has me do quite a bit of trailer repair work and his mechanic was gone for the weekend. Anyways he had a truck at the ryegrass rest area that wouldn't start, I get there and the "run" wire on the fuel solenoid is dangling in the air, pulled out of the ring terminal. Somehow while checking the oil the driver snagged the wire and ... Crimp on a new ring lug and he's on his way, and I have $300.02 to feed the bank account. The $.02 was for the terminal. ;)

Moral of this parable is: Can't drivers figure out how to improvise anymore? He had some basic tools including a small vise grips.

I'm usually up and cruising at 4 am my time, But lately this "up at 1 'til 3" thing has been hitting me. I think it's just the time of year.

Apparently my insomnia and yours aren't timed correctly
I'm usually in the fa@t sack at 8:00 so by 4:00 I've got my eight hours. Then spend the next two waking up and getting ready so I'm in the shop by 6:00, except
Saturday then it's at the shop by 5:30 Am.
