Anybody remember these. When I was a kid we had one that picked up the milk from our dairy. It was a 7000 GMC with the V12.
Same color as this one only it had chrome straight stacks, what a crackler. It pulled a 35' foot tanker. 702 Cu In- 275 HP
Four miles to the gallon on a good day.

I've done some reading on that engine, it was two V-6 engines siamesed. I don't remember if someone posted about it here or on HEF. From what I understand they didn't make a whole lot of them.

When I was a kid the school district I went to had a few GMC/Bluebird school buses with the V6 in them. They had a very distinct growl when they were accelerating, and 30 years later I read about the cam gear in them that made that growl. I'd love to see the V12! I'll check that site out, thanks!

I have a 432 cubic inch GMC V6, heavy O'l brute. Use to drive a 1966 GMC with a V6, surprising the torque they had. I can imagine a V12.

I was only eight when that 64 V-12 Jimmy would pickup the milk at our dairy. The one thing I remember the most was the bluish tint to those
twin chrome stacks-even to a eight year old kid you knew those were hot puppies!

Yes Sir, this one still has the tag on the valve cover...Manufactured 1974. My father in law said he had to watch who drove the truck, couldn't keep rearends and driveshafts in it.

I'm new to this forum thing. I dont know where to post a new question. I just bought a 1968 GMC 7500 with a 401m. Does anyone on here know where I can find parts for this thing. Specifically a master cylinder.

Welcome Micah. One thing we don't do here on the forums is post the same question in more than one place. It just leads to confusion. If anyone has a suggestion for him please respond in the similar thread listed in the GMC forum. Thanks.
