Well, I have to say that thing is beautiful!! Probably the biggest service truck I've seen yet. Looks like it just got painted. Must be 340", it's quite the long rig.

Yes the outside pics were just after we had finished building the rig inside pics were a while later, someone wanted to see the drawers we had built. Yes its long, you cant go thru the drivethru any more and not every motel is big enough to let you in .
Fastdirt I use to work over your way allot when I was with JDS 20 years ago. that was when I decided to try it on my own

Hey I just saw a heavy haul 379 from John D Stevens the other day. 20 years ago huh. That's about when I got started and everybody would talk about the huge pipeline project JDS did in Texas that nobody else could/would do. Man I wish you were close. I sure could use a good mechanic from time to time LOL. Really like that 379 you got. I've worked for Cyclone, Plateau, Strack, etc. and they all had really nice mechanic trucks like yours........just not as long. How much does that rig weigh? Motor? I'll guess 50K

Your close 48689 last time I took it across scales. 3406b 425 horse but Ive played with it a good bit, backed up because I didn't want a electronic rig I work on enough computer and sensor problems without having any more.

That has got to be the biggest and by far the nicest Service Truck I've ever laid eyes on. You have the set up great! What size is your Crane on the back? Also, that little indoor shop you have on there, when you go in the doors is there a step down, where you can stand up straight inside? (for a normal Man anyway, LOL, I am 6'5" so I probably couldn't) Hard to tell from the pics. Would be great if you could post a couple of the inside of that, hint, hint.

Real nice Pete, nice job. You make a big impression every time you drive up to a job in that beautiful truck. Thanks for sharing. Good job

Quit receiving emails from hef and htf and hadn't looked at this post in along time, the top of the dog house slides will try and remember to get some pics of the inside. Im 6'4" so I know what you mean. The boom is 15,000 at 9' and will get up about 46' or 47' high.
Thanks for all the comments.
