My brother in law and his friend bought a 1946 GMC flatbed from Kentucky to restore. I believe it was designate as a ton and a half, if someone knows different please correct me. It was in pretty rough shape when they got it with some rust, dents and missing panels. I didn't get any pictures until they have gotten a ways into the restoration. It was originally a dumping flatbed but they aren't restoring the dump portion and instead are making a stationary flatbed. I'll post more pics as it progresses, cab is sandblasted with missing panels fabricated, still needs dents removed and then paint, it will be the color of the wheel below with black fenders.
Wheel is powdercoated, cab will be same color
Clear oak main rails, sanded and urethaned. When I do my truck I'll use rough cut lumber on my REO to be more authentic
