Actually the 16V71 was 2 special built blocks bolted together with a 2 piece crank that was bolted together, It was designed to make replacing parts as necessary cheaper. But... The alignment tools to line up the blocks and cylinder heads were not cheap. And depending on the governor used, they were a total PITA to set racks on.Are those two 318s back to back? Probably pull a 4 bottom with much difficulty eh?
That engine should have about 635 HP with N-65 injectors. I worked around one on a deep well pump test rig with 4 stacks and it could really howl when they fully loaded it.What hp was that engine rated for?
Do they carry the snowblower too?Now that's just an urban lawn tractor that anyone wearing cotton dockers can buy at home depot.
