This 93 Pete 357 served me well . Was always under powered until it the engine was swapped out . Started life with a 3116 cat and an 8LL transmission at 400,000 the boss thought it was time to upgrade to a C12 and a deep reduction 9 speed .
The main reason they stayed with the smaller engines was weight . After the swap that ole girl weighed at just under 33,000 One would think with the boom over the front she would be nose heavy . It's nearly balanced , With in 500lbs . 20,000 lb front axle 46,000 rears .
It is a tough old truck because it was off road a bunch .
