What is it with trailers always pushing fences... and anything else over that gets in their way??? I'm glad I don't maintain this fence cause it gets hammered all the time!!!

Of course sometimes it's not the trailer that get things....

That reminds me of an incident we had last year at customers shop . Tri axil Mack dump truck had some air leaks so I had him lift the bed in the shop for better view . We found & repaired the air leaks . Then had Buddy Kenny fire the truck up to build air pressure ….This is where it went bad as the PTO was on and lift lever engaged 😫 We got it shut down after hearing the shop ceiling start crunching & busting . Buddy Kenny opened up the door on the Mack & looked up at the damage saying " Guess I will be calling the carpenter in the morning " . LOL! Stuff happens :)

I hit the ceiling once with my Autocrane… OOPS. I was setting an N-14 on a pallet and forgot about deflection.
On another job It was backed into the customers shop while I was guiding the torque out of a D9G, he was running the crane for me and got a big light fixture.

Yeah, leaving things engaged gets me once in a while:eek: Last time I left my pickup in drive and shut off the motor.... a couple hours later I go to leave and it won't crank... no prob.... I'll just short the passenger side fender solenoid!!! ;) started right up and about half a second later started pushing me with my feet skidding gravel:eek: It's a good thing I left as much room in front of it as I did because it took all of at least 30 feet to get the drivers door open and reach for the brake pedal!!!

Thank you RZ ! That deflection factor is exactly what buddy Kenny was telling the carpenter on the phone call ….. The dump bed was deflecting the roof in the shop . Carpenter is like WTF ? :) LOL!
