I saw this today being loaded, the boiler is 200 ton the equipment to move it 190 ton. With the road restrictions it took extra axles. 625 hp Cat's under the hoods of those tractors.
The boiler is for a straw processing plant north of town and the route the state allowed them to use has several 6% grades.

I don't it was one of the few questions I didn't ask. I know they went with this set of axles because the county raised concern. They would have brought it there by rail
but BNSF would not let it cross the bridge over the Snake River at Lyons Ferry because the limit per axle on that bridge 42,000 and the car weighed 68,000 each axle.

It looks like those beams are laid over a culvert, did they drive the rig up and over the beams?
Yep, in the pics Mike posted on HEF you can see the ramps for the beams stacked on a trailer. Wish I had made it down there to see that move. Last time I went down to visit with Truck shop, The girlfriend and I traveled that same route coming home. The new section of road from the old grain elevators to Lyons Ferry is pretty nice road. I wish they had that when I was hauling grain in that area a million years ago.

I'd have loved to see that process. I'm trying to imagine how it worked with the low ground clearance of the main trailer.
