Derby cars

The county fair is going on this weekend here in town and last night was the demolition derby. The baby boomers lost their minds and some
probably had mild coronary's. A kid showed up with a 57 Chevy 2D post. When it started the pack of crashers went after that 57 like it was
a spider under a shoe. Three hits and it was toast.:) Had I been there I would have offered a $50 dollar bonus to the first one to tag it:avid.
The reason I say that is because people have gotten a little too stupid with there money and offering and paying sky high prices for cars,
pickups, trucks and motorcycles that are just not rare at all. There are only a few cars here and there that are truly rare.

This is a 53 CJ3B that I custom built from 85 to 87. Yes I was proud of it but it didn't consume my life. I live by this rule---------------------
[When times get rough and your belly button is scraping on your spine it's hard to find a frying pan or stove big enough to fricassee that
four wheeled money pit.

My buddy had a CJ5 for a while. We went off roading occasionally but the highway driving bothered me more than that. After about 20 minutes it wasn't fun anymore.

You did a nice job, I don't think I've seen a chrome front panel before. I just don't think I could ride in it for very long LOL. It looks like it could be shorter than my buddy's.

The 2A's and 3B's were shorter, All the CJ's had a choppy ride. The grill and several engine parts I had chromed. Later I changed the steering to rack an pinion and
installed a narrowed 44 with disc brakes. The pedals were overhead out of a Gremlin and used the dual master cylinder also. The rear end was a narrowed 8 3/4
Chrysler.
